Skiing in Chamonix
With 67 ski lifts, you can enjoy 119 ski runs ranging from green to black, spread across the entire ski area from 1042 metres to 3300 metres altitude. For thrill-seekers, there's snowboarding, speedriding and off-piste skiing on the Argentière glacier, with a vertical drop of 2,258 metres. What's more, if you want to make the most of the fresh powder while freeriding, you can always contact the resort's High Mountain Guides for advice and useful information. Facing the Mont Blanc range, the two adjacent areas are some of the most beautiful in the Alps, with varied pistes and a southern exposure.
Activities in Chamonix
Walkers and hikers will enjoy the resort's 17 kilometres of footpaths between Chamonix and Tines - a great opportunity to discover the mountain and its wildlife. You can also opt for a snowshoeing or cross-country skiing outing, if required you can hire your equipment from our ski hire shop. Other sporting activities include ice climbing and ice skating.
